Disordered Eating
Take control of your relationship with food for a sustainable result.
Can Hypnotherapy help me to take control of my eating habits?
Yes, hypnotherapy can help you to take control of your relationship with food.
We will address the aspects that you need help with, whether that is binge/emotional eating, snacking, portion control, specific foods.
Dieting is not sustainable over time. We will work directly with the subconscious to change the underlying patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving.
Our state of mind is closely related to the production of neurotransmitters, such as serotonin. If enough serotonin is being produced and metabolised we feel happy and satisfied, the feeling of hunger is reduced, we sleep better, and as a result have less need for substitutes such as alcohol or snacks. And if our stress levels are under control, then we don’t have to rely on those quick-fix dopamine hits that overeating gives us.
Hypnotherapy works at the point where your patterns of thought and behaviours arise: the subconscious mind. By understanding how your mind works and the part that hormones play in the processing and storing of fat, supported by the power of hypnosis, these patterns can be reset for a sustainable result.
What clients are saying:
“Having suffered with eating disorders my entire adult life I decided to try hypnotherapy to see if it could help me. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but had nothing to lose. I was slightly anxious, but Larissa put me at ease immediately. Our sessions were easy going, but productive, and I would leave each one feeling happy and positive.
Have completed the course, I finally have a different mindset towards my eating, feeling empowered to now have a healthier relationship with food. I cannot recommend Larissa’s hypnotherapy enough, she really has given me the tools to turn my life around. I am so glad that I made the decision to give it a go!”

"I had the most amazing experience with Seascape, and helped me reset for the end of the year. The process has helped me understand so much more about my thinking and approach to situations. It also gave me time to myself which I had forgotten to prioritise. Amazing experience and would highly recommend."
